MONTEGO BAY YACHT CLUB BERTHING - The Montego Bay Yacht Club welcomes all competing yachts to moor at the Yacht Club docks during their stay in Jamaica. Docking during the event, up to and including February 13, the Friday of the Prize Giving is included. Charges will commence at noon Sat 14 Feb, 2015 at a rate of US$1.00​ per foot per day.​ The Club is located on the Freeport Peninsula, with berthing in the protected basin that forms the Montego Bay Harbour. There is enough water depth for all competing yachts. Yachts are berthed stern-to using their own anchors.

QUARANTINE - Yachts may lower their "Q" flags after handing over their entry documents to the Boarding Officer at Montego Bay Yacht Club if free of all sickness. If any crew had or is suspected of having a contagious disease, the flag shall remain hoisted and all crew members must remain on board until the yacht is cleared by a Medical Officer.

HOSPITALITY - Each yacht will have it's own personal host in Montego Bay. Your host will be a member of the Montego Bay Yacht Club, and will follow your progress in the race, meet your boat when you arrive, and get you acquainted and oriented. Hosts and skippers meet by mail beforehand, time permitting.

WATER / DIESEL FUEL - Water and Marine diesel fuel supplies are available alongside the Montego Bay Yacht Club pier.

GARBAGE - Will be collected daily from large bins along the club pier.

INTERNET - There is wireless hi-speed internet services available to skippers and crew at Montego Bay Yacht Club.

LAUNDRY - Laundry service is available at the Montego Bay Yacht Club. Check with the Nerve / Information Centre.

RESTAURANT & BAR - Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be available daily at the Montego Bay Yacht Club at reasonable prices. The Bar is open daily. All food and beverages purchased at the Club can be paid for with cash or most major credit cards.

CLUB HOUSE RULES - Children under 16 are not permitted in the Bar. Bathing suits, wet clothing and bare chests are not permitted in the Yacht Club rooms. Daytime attire is informal - shorts, slacks, etc. Cocktail attire is normal for evening functions. Otherwise - strictly casual!

TRANSPORTATION AND TOURS - The Nerve/Information Center at the Montego Bay Yacht Club will help you with your transportation & tour inquiries and needs.

SHIPS STORES - Groceries, food, and liquor supplies are available at nearby Westgate Shopping Center. It is recommended that yachts be fully provisioned for their return voyage.

WEATHER - Weather information is available at the Airport Authority Met Office at Montego Bay Sangster International Airport, phone (876) 952-0181.

BANKING AND EXCHANGE CONTROL - Existing currency regulations are contained in the immigration landing cards and must be strictly adhered to. Currency can be exchanged at the Montego Bay Yacht Club. Under no circumstances may Jamaican currency be brought into the country. Other banking services are available at Bank of Nova Scotia, located in the Westgate Shopping Plaza, and there are branches of CIBC, Bank of Nova Scotia, and National Commercial Bank, in the City of Montego Bay.

YACHT DEPARTURE - No charges for clearing out during regular office hours. A boat may clear out up to 24 hours before setting sail.

AIRLINES TO JAMAICA - Air Jamaica provides daily service to Montego Bay from all their North American gateway cities. American Airlines, Spirit Air, Jet Blue and Northwest Airlines also service Montego Bay daily.
